Fujitaka is Touya and Sakura's dad. He is a very sweet and caring person. However, because of his job as an archaeology professor, he is constantly traveling. He fell in love and married Nadeshiko Amamiya when she was 16 and he was 25 (they were teacher and pupil). He loved her very much, and promised her he wouldn't cry when she died.

*SPOILER* Fujitaka says he has no magical powers whatsoever. That is because he is the caring, nonmagical half of Clow Reed. The other half is Eriol Hiiragizawa.
